By Ojeikere Aikhoje
Jude Aneke (right) Nigeria Premier League all-time scorer, Jude Aneke, is confident of an exciting season at Cairo based Egyptian side, El-Dakhleya. Aneke signed a three-year deal at Al Masry, but has to begin his Egyptian career with Dakhleya as the Port Said side have opted out of the 2012/2013 season to respect victims of the violent clash during the Egypt Premier League match against Al Ahly Nationale. The Nigerian forward will return to Masry after his season loan. Apart from Aneke, Masry have two other players in Dakhleya, which are in their second season in the top flight. “We had our first training on Saturday. I’m getting to know my new teammates,” Aneke said to supersport.com. The former Kaduna United and Warri Wolves forward expressed satisfaction with what he has seen on ground. “I’m impressed with what I’ve seen in Dakhleya. The facilities are great. It’s nice to be here,” he told supersport.com. Teams are allowed three foreigners in Egypt and Aneke becomes the third non-Egyptian at the club which also have a Guinean and Burkinabe. The Egyptian Premier League will resume in October.
